Facebook app for iPhone 6s & 6s Plus gets 3D Touch support

Facebook has updated its iOS application for iPhone and iPad and has pushed an update into the app store. The latest quick update of the Facebook iOS app brings support for the 3D touch feature on the latest iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus. The new update on adds the shortcuts feature on the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus, the in-app peek and pop feature are still missing.

With this latest update, pressing the Facebook app icon on your iPhone 6s or the iPhone 6s Plus Home screen brings up quick shortcuts to:

• Write Post – lets you update your Facebook status which also includes location check-ins and more options.
• Upload Photo/Video – allows you to upload and share either a photo or video, which you have already saved on your iOS device, to your Facebook timeline.
• Take Photo/Video – lets you capture and share a video or photo on your profile.

 

 Other than these three shortcuts, the app does not offer the fourth shortcut as Apple allows developers to add four quick shortcuts to the list. Within the application, Apple’s new Peek and Pop interactions are also missing. Live Photos that Apple introduced with the new iPhone models are still just normal photos when you post them on your Facebook profile. However, Apple says that Facebook will add support for Live Photos before the end of this year.
Fcebook’s own Instagram app has alredy received 3D Touch features on the new iPhone models, including the Peek and Pop feature with the app running as well as the quick shortcuts when the app icons in pressed hard. The company has also launched its promised Messenger app for Apple Watch. At this point, company’s Facebook app and the regular Messenger app are the ones missing the full 3D Touch support.

Description

Easily share photos and videos between iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch devices using Bluetooth - no network required! You can also share photos and videos using services such as Facebook, Twitter, iCloud Photo Sharing, Evernote, Instagram and Email. New media is marked with a new icon for easy selection and number of new media is indicated.

Can now select from photos and videos, photos only and videos only. Also marks new photos and videos.

Photos and video transferred in full resolution and shared using device Bluetooth so sharing can be done from anywhere. Can also upload to other services such as Facebook, Twitter, Email, Clipboard, iCloud Photo Sharing, Evernote, Instagram and more depending on the apps you have installed.

Photo quality settings available are good, better and best. Best provides the original image resolution.

Just select the photos and videos that you want to share then click Send Media to start the process. To receive the media on the other device install and run PhotosShare on that device and click Receive Media.

You can choose to select from photos and videos, photos only or videos only. Indicates which photos and videos are new. New media is from today, yesterday or the day before yesterday. The number of new photos and videos is also shown along with the total number of photos and videos.

Clicking the thumbnail image for a photo or video will toggle between full-screen and the original image. Easily remove any photo or video from your selections.

A photo icon indicates a photo, a video camera icon indicates a video and a camera icon indicates that the photo was taken by the camera. Click the print icon to print using AirPrint.

Use in app settings to quickly access and change your settings.

Use Display Name Settings to change the name to display to other PhotosShare users.

Use Send Options Settings to set the maximum photos that can be sent at a time, thumbnail size, send packet size, photo quality and to turn sound on and off.

Use Receive Options Settings to turn on or off automatically adding of media to your Photos collection and to turn sound on or off. The default is to automatically add the transferred media to your Photos collection. If you just want to transfer and view media between devices then turning this off could be beneficial. When receiving media, this setting is reflected via the AutoSave option.

Sharing uses the Bluetooth (device to device) which provides a range of up to 30 feet for sharing with friends or other device you have. Sharing can be done whether you have a network present or not.

Bone Ninja is a teaching tool developed by two orthopedic surgeons who specialize in limb deformity correction: Dr. Shawn Standard and Dr. John Herzenberg. It is designed to help surgeons learn to analyze long bone deformities. Bone Ninja comes pre-loaded with radiographs of normal legs and deformed legs. You can analyze the provided cases or upload your own. Once your analysis is complete, you can then use the cut-out tool to try different osteotomy solutions. Suggested solutions for the provided cases are available for comparison.

Bone Ninja includes tools for drawing lines, measuring angles, measuring lengths, and calibrating the magnification. The cutting tool allows you to manipulate one or more fragments to simulate correction of single or multilevel deformities. The analysis of the radiographs is based on methodology taught at our annual Baltimore Limb Deformity Course (BLDC), now in its 22nd year (DeformityCourse.com). We developed this app to supplement the BLDC and look forward to feedback from attendees and other users. Bone Ninja is not presented as a clinical tool, but rather an educational tool. It will not “automatically” analyze deformities. The student must first learn the methodology of analyzing and planning deformity correction in order to use Bone Ninja. Bone Ninja is a 21st century mobile alternative to pencil, ruler, goniometer, and paper.

Bone Ninja will be periodically updated by adding more case examples, more explanations, and more tools. The name “Bone Ninja” is intentionally whimsical and reflects our philosophy of teaching as “infotainment.” Enjoy!

Description

1. How to add video with USB
- Run iTunes 9.1 or above
- Device->My Device(My iPad)->Apps, drag and drop files to the AVplayer's documents

2. Support High quality video clips ( 720P, 1080P )
- High quality video clips of 720P (1280 x 720) or more are recommended for MP4 format.
- MP4, MOV, M4V formats that QuickTime supports can be played up to 1080P by using H/W Decoder but, Post Processing function isn’t provided.
- Support H/W decoding for MKV and AVI (720P supported on iPad1, 1080P supported on iPad2 / The New iPad)
- Hybrid decoding mode is added and now it is able to play high resolution videos by using hardware accelerator feature embedded in iPhone/iPad even for mkv or avi in h264. Also battery use time has extended.
- Application may crash in iPhone 3GS / iPod Touch due to heavy use of memory in Hybrid decoding. Try turning off all application running in background and reboot the device by holding down sleep mode button for long time.
- If screen shakes it means hardware decoding is not supported. Try turning off hybrid decoding.
- When the file formats are available for MKV or AVI the player supports hardware decoding.
- If you cannot choose audio in mp4 or avi, change the extension to mkv temporarily and chosen audio channel will be applied.

3. The optimal speed when advancing its playing speed can differ depending on the way it’s compressed and the size.
Video clips of XVID (AVI) 720 x 480 can be fast played up to 1.3-1.5 times faster than normal.
